The customer wanted to add a bit of pizazz to kitchen and living room via some tiles that would add a bit of contrast to the pastel walls.
A new Gas Heater 'chimney' was added with a cement sheet base for the 600 x 600 mm tiles.
The previous tiles were drab. Instead of removing them their surface was roughed up with a grinder and the new 330 x 600 tiles were glued on. Above the first row of tiles a cement sheet was glued and screwed into the wall to raise the surface to the same level as the new tiles as they were no tiles around this area previously.
Ensuite renovation. This job was completed after having previously just finished a bathroom for the customer. After this an adjoining Laundry was also completed.
Before Ensuite was rebuilt..
Customer did a 'Stirling' job of ensuite renovation in preparation for tiling.
Cabinet and sink was removed, wall was added, electrical wiring was changed, shower tray box was inserted, wall and floor were waterproofed, ready for tiling floor. (Sorry no pics of floor being laid!)
