Pretty standard 600x6000mm porcelain tile on cement sheet job. Large laundry and toilet including a feature wall.
There was one part of the floor which needed to be packed under the floor between the floor joists above studs where water had leaked. This packing which I performed prevented the floor from bouncing in that area. Tiles are not supposed to bounce!
All the tiles had the same pattern on them but it was printed on different locations (i.e. the 'picture' was bigger than the tile and so it was printed so that no two tiles had exactly the same print). I opted to put one tile facing opposite to the next.
After cement sheeting and applying sealer I layed out the centre walkway area tiles to see where best to start and finish the tile line for the most practical and aesthetically pleasing look.
Getting around the toilet feature wall was a bit of a fiddle but the end result was good. Finally grouting completed the job.
The customer was very happy. I said the room was too nice for a laundry. It was big and bright and happy.
